Error connecting to server?

I have been trying to connect to the server for a few hrs now I don't think it is a update because a update should really take 30 minutes or so unless it is a big update so is it just my laptop/connection or is the server down or something?

i think it got hacked....because i tried to logon and it wasnt the normal backround it was just black and white...wierd

Thats silly :c I have like 8 people messaging me on Skype I am trying to get them to play the server and there like ;oo whats going on ;(
